Flu Vaccination Clinic
Flu vaccination clinics are available by appointment in October and November.
A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS. Please ask for the charges when requesting the vaccine. We are an authorised Yellow Fever vaccination centre. It would greatly help us if you could complete our Travel Form before attending a booked travel advice appointment.
Child Health Clinic
A child health clinic is held every Wednesday morning with Dr Gill. Developmental checks are carried out by appointment with our practice nurse.
Infants' and Children's Immunisations
These are given by the nurse. The doctors strongly advocate that all infants and children should be adequately immunised. Please remember to bring the child's 'Red Book' for completion. Without this, immunisation may be refused at that appointment.
Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT)
IAPT accepts referrals for people aged 16+ from all communities
You may be aware that the Coventry and Warwickshire IAPT service offers help and support for people suffering from low mood, stress, worry, depression and anxiety.
We are currently working on a number of initiatives to improve access for people from BME communities.
IAPT has a diverse workforce; actively welcoming referrals from all of society and will work with clients who are 16 years or older.
The service has access to interpreters and also uses a range of self-help guides, which have been translated in to a number of languages. We acknowledge language barriers can be difficult and strive to overcome this challenge for our clients.
We have found that when individuals from BME communities have been helped by our service, many people have benefitted from the support provided and we would like to build on the number of BME communities accessing IAPT.
If you feel that someone you are in contact with may find support from the service useful, please let them know that they can refer themselves to our service by ringing 024 76667 1090. Alternatively you can make a referral to us on their behalf.
If you would like to find out more about the services we offer, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
